New Waterfront Restaurant at Catalina Bay (Hobsonville Point)

New Venue. New Team. New Opportunity. 🍸 Catalina Social Club is coming to Catalina Bay, Hobsonville Point! Featuring Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with an Asian twist and beautiful waterfront views, our new restaurant will offer inviting indoor and outdoor dining spaces, with an opening planned for November. Catalina Social Club is proud to be part of Hao Good Group, which operates popular venues across Auckland and Wellington, including Mr. Hao, Lucky 8, Jungle 8, and Lucky 8 Wellington. Known for creating vibrant, high-energy dining and social experiences, Hao Good Group is bringing its passion for hospitality and operational expertise to Hobsonville Point with this exciting new venture. Our Venue Manager is already on board, and we're now looking for enthusiastic people to join the team and help bring this new venue to life! If we feel it's a good fit for both sides, we'll invite you to a trial shift. Please note that the trial shift is currently planned as a voluntary, unpaid trial. As Catalina Social Club hasn't opened yet, we don't have our own restaurant floor available for trials just yet. Instead, trials will take place at one of our existing venues: Lucky 8, Jungle 8, or Mr. Hao, which operate across Auckland and Wellington. At Catalina Social Club, we'll be introducing a QR code ordering system while still placing a strong emphasis on personal interaction and attentive customer service. During the trial, we'll have the opportunity to see how you handle customer service, work on the floor, and collaborate with a team in a real restaurant environment. While Catalina Social Club's service style will differ in some ways from our existing venues, the trial will help both sides understand whether the role is the right fit. Opening a new venue means being involved in everything from staff training and establishing operational systems to building a strong team culture.
