Bar Staff Wanted - Ponsonby (Auckland)

We are a locally owned hospitality group with 3 venues in the Auckland area (Ponsonby, Mt Eden & Auckland CBD) & a Brande New venue in Wellington, and we are currently seeking a talented Bar staff to join our team. This position is for the PONSONBY restaurant. As a Bar person, you will be responsible for serving all customers at the bar and within the venue in a courteous and professional manner at all times while contributing to a safe and enjoyable environment to work in. The Bar person is required to provide an unforgettable experience for our customers, they are to image our company at all time. Tasks include but is not limited to seating guests, making recommendations, explaining the service style & items on offer, ordering & ensuring your guests are well looked after among other side duties, clearing emplty plates & glasses off tables, resetting tables in a timely manner to accommodate your next guests. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of self presentation, cleanliness of the venue at all times to reflect the brand, and safety in the venue for guests as well as staff. Our ideal candidate should have: Previous waiting experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred but we are happy to train up the right candidate Strong interest & some knowledge of food & beverage Strong time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks A passion for hospitality & excellence Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays In return, we offer a competitive staff discount, opportunities for growth within our company, and a supportive team environment.
