We Are Hiring: Main Barista, Chef, and Kitchen Hand for a New Brunch Café in Tauranga! We are a local café in Tauranga set to open in February next year, and we’re looking for: • Main Barista • Chef (Senior Chef and Junior Chef) • Kitchen Hand Start Date: From the second week of February. Barista We welcome candidates even without prior experience, as long as you are outgoing, enjoy engaging with customers, and have a passion for coffee and cafés. If you’re based in Auckland, we can offer training twice a week at one of the cafés I manage before the Tauranga café opens. Additional training will also be provided by the coffee bean company we work with. We believe the barista is one of the most important roles in a café, so we’re looking for someone who works well in a team and brings great energy. Chef If you’re in Auckland, we can arrange an interview and trial at one of the cafés I manage, and then you can join us in Tauranga. If you’re already in Tauranga, we can schedule an interview there. We’re looking for chefs who are strong team players and want to be part of the opening team, growing the business together. Pay will be based on your skills and effort. Kitchen Hand We welcome those who are passionate about café cuisine and eager to learn from the ground up. Additional Information: We welcome applications from Working Holiday Visa holders for all positions.
